Mentoring for Business Owners

Over the last few years I have discovered that many business owners feel very alone at times, because the they don’t have anyone to talk to about ideas and possible aspirations they have for their business.

Sometimes it is because they are a self-employed ‘one-man-band’ who does not want to talk to their family, their clients, their bank or even their accountant until they are certain that they thoroughly thought through their ideas. More often, it is because their employees, or fellow directors, may not appreciate the implications of their ideas and therefore voicing such an idea could cause unnecessary disruption at a time when it is only an idea and not a definite plan.

I set up The Business Owners Club to help with just this kind of problem.

The Business Owners Club works in a number of different ways.

1. Business owners, Chief Executives and General Managers can hire me as a mentor and ‘sounding board’ on a one off, or regular basis. Sessions are typically of two-hour duration and can be at the client’s premises, or more often at a neutral location away from possible interruption.

2. I can help set up BOC Mastermind groups. Each group would be made up of approximately five business owners and the monthly two-hour meetings would be hosted, in turn, by each of the five members and would be chaired by myself for a minimum of six sessions.
